The specialized-equipment company Nordson said Monday it was buying CyberOptics a 3D-sensing technology company, for $380 million. The all-cash deal works out at $54 a share and is a 31% premium to CyberOptics ‘ (ticker: CYBE) closing price on Friday. In response to the news, CyberOptics ‘ shares surged 29% to $52.99 in premarket trading on Monday.
